
Barbara Reichert is a strategic communications professional with over 20 years high-tech public relations and journalism experience. She has directed and implemented public relations programs for more than 50 technology companies. Prior to founding Reichert Communications in 2002, Reichert was a partner at McLean Public Relations and before that she served as a Director on the management team at the Horn Group and an Account Supervisor at Wilson McHenry Company. Over the years, Reichert has led company launches for numerous startups and helped Marketing Icon Geoffrey Moore successfully publicize his book, Inside the Tornado. Reichert also gained a keen understanding of startups from the inside, while holding an executive management position as VP of Corporate Communications for Aceva Technologies, an eFinance software startup in the Silicon Valley that secured more than $50 million in venture financing.
Reichert began her career as a reporter and producer for KTWO Television, a statewide television station in Wyoming. She also worked as a city beat reporter for the Casper Star Tribune. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana, School of Journalism with an emphasis in broadcast news and minor in psychology.

Sylvie Tongco brings six years of marketing and communications experience to the Reichert Communications team. Previously, she was a Marketing Analyst for Remithome Corporation where she was instrumental in launching the startup’s online remittance service, managing strategic and viral marketing campaigns to enhance the company’s visibility. As part of its reputation program, Tongco worked in liaison with a PR agency to establish Remithome’s communications program, which included corporate positioning, message development and media and blogger relations. Prior to that, Tongco was at Landis Communications and The Terpin Group, supporting both consumer and enterprise technology clients, including Whole Foods Market, Cold Stone Creamery, NBC Entertainment, iParkSV and SUSE Linux, among others.
Tongco served as Chief Editor of her university newspaper, Campus Currents, and was a music and entertainment reporter for Collegiate Monthly 101. She has a MBA in marketing and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Marketing from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Jill has 18 years experience in communications and public relations. Her seasoned launch expertise and understanding of how to create relationships within the press, analyst and social media communities have served her clients well. During her career, Hara has handled PR launches for new technology products and services at Hewlett-Packard Company, Colorado MicroDisplay, Solectron, and a number of enterprise software startup companies. Hara has worked with various industry trade and mainstream media outlets, securing coverage for clients in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, TIME, USA Today, CNN, CBS, and Good Morning America, among others.
Previously, Hara was with Kickstart Consulting, Golin/Harris International, Copithorne and Bellows, The Bohle Company, and Chiat/Day Communications where she provided strategic PR counsel and communications services for clients ranging from auto manufacturers Nissan and Infiniti, to enterprise software organizations, and electronic gaming companies such as Activision. Hara has a B.A. from San Diego State University in journalism with a minor in psychology.

Sarah Kavanagh is a communications professional with more than 17 years of public relations experience. She has skillfully promoted companies and products in the digital video, graphics, consumer electronics, engineering and application development markets with clients that include Harmonic Inc. and its Rhozet business unit, Thomson Grass Valley/Canopus, and Avvenu -- a Web 2.0 remote access and sharing service.
Kavanagh’s background includes extensive client relationship building, strategic planning and crisis management experience, as well as active media relations. Her years of experience have forged an image of aggressiveness tempered with strategic insight that allows her to work closely with the management team to craft the right message and communicate it to the world.

Tom Jalbert brings over a decade of Network Engineering, Systems Administration and Mechanical Engineering experience to the RCL team. Jalbert founded Jalbert Systems in 2004 where he has provided IT consulting services for start-ups and mid-size enterprises such as Anshen + Allen Architects, Synarc and Electric Cloud, with a strong focus on implementation of Open Source systems and software. He also has extensive experience providing consulting and IT services to companies in numerous vertical markets including venture capital, architecture, legal, medical and software development. Jalbert has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine.
